KochKutz Client Terms & Service Agreement

Effective Date: June 17, 2026

By accepting a quote or allowing KochKutz to perform services on your property, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please note that our policies and fees are subject to change, though we will always strive to communicate any updates clearly with our clients.

1. Scope of Work

KochKutz specializes strictly in routine lawn maintenance and aesthetic care.

  • Included Services: Precision mowing, string trimming, blowing, and seasonal leaf/debris removal as outlined in your specific quote.
  • Excluded Services: We do not perform major hardscaping, grading, tree removal, or large-scale landscape construction. Any requests outside our core maintenance scope will be politely declined or referred to a specialized contractor.

2. Scheduling & Property Access

To provide reliable service to all clients, we require the following accommodations:

  • Access: Clients must ensure all gates are unlocked on the scheduled service day. If our crew cannot access the property, a trip fee may be applied, and service will be skipped until the next scheduled visit.
  • Pets & Obstacles: Lawns must be cleared of toys, hoses, tools, and pet waste prior to arrival. Pets must be secured indoors during service. KochKutz is not responsible for damage to items left hidden in the grass.
  • Weather Delays: Mother Nature dictates our schedule. In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather, services will be paused and automatically rescheduled for the next available clear day.

3. Financial & Payment Terms

We offer modern, flexible payment solutions to make managing your property effortless.

  • Accepted Methods: We accept major Credit/Debit Cards, Cryptocurrency, and Cash on Service.
  • Digital Billing: Card and Crypto payments are processed securely online via digital invoice. Clients opting for recurring card payments authorize KochKutz to automatically charge their card on file upon completion of each weekly or bi-weekly service.
  • Cash Payments: Cash must be paid directly to the crew upon completion of the service that same day.
  • Late Payments: We understand that things get busy, but to keep our operations running smoothly, invoices not paid within 7 days of the service date may be subject to a $5 late fee. Service may also be paused on accounts with a past-due balance exceeding 14 days.

4. Property Damage & Liability

We take immense pride in our precision, but accidents occasionally happen.

  • Sprinkler Heads & Hidden Lines: KochKutz is not responsible for damage to exposed sprinkler heads, hidden cables, invisible dog fences, or irrigation lines that are not properly installed or marked.
  • Reported Damage: Any property damage caused directly by our equipment must be reported in writing within 48 hours of the service so we can promptly inspect and resolve the issue.

5. Service Modifications & Cancellations

  • Cancellations: Routine maintenance agreements are at-will. You may cancel or pause your service at any time by notifying us at least 24 hours prior to your next scheduled cut. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a final trip charge.
